The decision to create an APP for a chatbot (paradoxical fact since the main reason for creating a chatbot was just to differentiate the product from the saturated app market and therefore get away from the app world) came from the friction found in regular users of APPs. It was common that after each talk, interview or appearance in the media one or more users appeared frustrated by not finding “correYvuela” in their APP Store.
So once found the barrier that generated friction to users in their path to the chatbot world, it was decided to create a very simple APP, the goal of which was to transform the channel and educate users on the way .

The components and distributions of the application were all designed under the logic of Google Material Design, below you have a representative sample of a screen that contains all the elements used in the rest of screens:

With the aim of generating an educational tone an introductory “walkthrough” was created that only appeared when opening the APP for the first time. In it, we explained in a simple way what this was about and what content they could find.

Once inside the APP, the user finds 4 sections selected to help them as much as possible saturating the minimum. The user can move between through a menu located in the inferior part of the screen or doing horizontal scroll with their finger.
The first two screens are designed so that the users find what they are looking for as soon as possible. The first one is for immediate conversion to the channel chosed by the user, while the second one tries to perform this conversion in a more guided way and
previously known by the little “adventurous” users.

The last two screens are designed to offer help and support to users. The first one has the objective of solving technical problems that can be faced by the user through an animation that shows how the interaction is carried out and it is followed by FAQs section below. But if the user does not find his problem in this section, he also has the possibility of making any query through the contact section.

Once the application was completed, the main objective that sought its creation was achieved; the increase of users on WhatsApp platform. But even so, the increase was not all the exponential that was intended to be, so they proceeded to investigate by another strategy or tool that transformed more users to the desired channel.
